Robert C. “Bob” Goodman, 74, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8:17 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Bob was born in Evansville, Indiana, on April 19, 1952, to Donald and Daisy (James) Goodman.
He married Debbie Harold on November 19, 1972, at Wickliffe United Methodist Church in Wickliffe, Indiana.
He graduated from English Sterling High School in 1970. He then earned a degree in Auto Mechanics and Business Management from Lincoln Tech.
He retired from Jasper Engines and Transmissions, where he had worked for 26 years. After retirement, he spent much of his time tearing down and rebuilding tractors, and rebuilt at least 30 tractors to showroom quality.
Bob was a member of Patoka Lake Bow Hunters Club, Wild Turkey Federation and the NRA. He also helped with Hunter Education Classes.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, working in the shop and on tractors, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Debbie Goodman of Huntingburg; two children, Kristina Betz of Ferdinand and Russell (Tiffany) Goodman of Palmyra, Ind.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Segert of Petersburg and Eva (Victor) McCune of Jasper; one brother, John Goodman of Jasper; and one sister-in-law, Rita Goodman of Birdseye, IN.
Preceding him in death are his parents, one son-in-law, Jeremy Betz; two sisters, Rosemary Montgomery and Georgia Goodman; and one brother, Donald Goodman.
A funeral service for Robert C. “Bob” Goodman will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Wickliffe Cemetery in Wickliffe, Indiana.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel on Saturday.
