Roads closing again as rains pound region

With local rain gauges showing between two and three inches of water fell over the county overnight, 17 roads have been impacted by high water.

On Monday, the Dubois County Highway Department reported the following roads were blocked by water.

Madison Township

  • County Road 875 West south of County Road 150 North
  • County Road 800 West north of County Road 300 South — river bottoms
  • Ell Creek Road north of County Road 400 South

Marion Township

  • County Road 175 East north of County Road 300 North
  • St. Anthony Road West south of Schnellville Road

Columbia Township

  • Dubois Road Northeast south of State Road 56

Boone Township

  • County Road 600 North west of 200 West

Bainbridge Township

  • Meridian Road south of State Road 162

Jackson Township

  • County Road 230 South east of State Road 162

Patoka Township

  • County Road 400 South west of Ell Creek Road
  • County Road 400 South east of U.S. 231
  • County Road 130 West north of 400 South
  • Old Road 64 west of Patoka Road
