Bridge work to restrict traffic in Crawford County this Thursday
Beginning Thursday, several areas in Crawford County will have lane restrictions due to bridge work being completed.
State Road 66 will be restricted to a single lane near Leavenworth and Sulphur. Depending upon weather conditions, contractors will restrict traffic to one lane on State Road 66 about a quarter-mile east and west of the bridge spanning Interstate 64 near Leavenworth for a bridge deck rehabilitation project.
Workers will also restrict the State Road 66 bridge spanning the West Fork of the Little Blue River between Old Union Church Road and Easy Street near Sulphur for a bridge rehab project.
Restrictions will be limited to daytime hours and one lane will be open at all times. Flaggers will be used to control traffic During the project loads over 14 feet wide will need to seek an alternate route.
Work is scheduled to last until Oct. 2, depending upon weather conditions.
State Road 145 will be restricted near Eckerty beginning Thursday.
Depending upon weather conditions, contractors will restrict traffic to one lane on State Road 145 between West County Road 1025 South and N. Williams Ridge Road this Thursday for a rehabilitation project on the bridge spanning the Patoka River. Restrictions will be limited to daytime hours. Flaggers will control traffic.
During the project, loads over 14-feet wide will need to seek an alternate route. Work is scheduled to last until Oct. 2.
