Rita Dawn Cole, 60, Ferdinand

Rita Dawn Cole, 60, of Ferdinand, formerly of Taswell, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Scenic Hills Assisted Living Facility in Ferdinand, surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 19, 1963, in Paoli to William and Hazel (Garriott) Hollen.

Rita loved to travel; she enjoyed flowers and her cats. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandson Dalton. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Brenda Tuell, and her former companion, David, whom she missed dearly.

She is survived by her daughter, Audrey Cole; her grandson, Dalton; her siblings, Robert Hollen, David (Rose Ann) Hollen, Karen Ranger, Billie Jo (Joe) Moya, and Troy Hollen; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at noon EST with Bro. Albert Madden to officiate. Burial will follow in Taswell Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at noon EST at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana.
