Rick King, 65, Hillham

Rick King, 65, of Hillham, entered eternal rest on February 7, 2025, at Memorial Hospital and Health Center in Jasper, Ind.

He was born in Huntingburg on April 30, 1959, to Kenneth and Mary M. (Nicholson) King.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky L. King; brother, Jack King.

He had worked at Jones and Sons Concrete and Solar Sources Coal Mine.

Rick was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in French Lick.

He loved camping, fishing and mushroom hunting.

Rick is survived by a companion, Dawn Linne of Hillham; sons, Derrick King of Washington and Justin King of Washington; brother, Mike King of Dubois; sisters, Linda Deal (Terry) of Overland Park, Kansas, Lisa Hammond (Jay) of French Lick, and Mary Busick (Dave) of French Lick; five grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen, and a service will be held at a later date.
