Richard “Rick” Laverne Woody Jr., 59, French Lick

Richard “Rick” Laverne Woody Jr., 59, of French Lick, passed away on September 5, 2025, in French Lick.

He was born on August 9, 1966, in Loogootee to Richard Laverne Woody Sr. and Sandra (Bruner) Woody.

He was an employee of Masterbrand in Jasper. Richard was a member of the Indiana Abate. He entered many car shows with his 1999 Oldsmobile 442, as well as his Harley-Davidson. Rick dearly loved and adored his pets.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, who will forever remember the joy he brought to their lives.

He is survived by his father, Richard Laverne Woody Sr. of Loogootee; fiancée, Benita Ingram of French Lick; step-brothers, Scott Woody and Jimmy Woody; special friend and cousin, Carmen Sterling of Otwell; and also he cherished his Aunt Genny, who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Woody and brother, Cary Woody and step-father, Rudy F. Graham Sr. 

Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. McAdams Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Richard Woody Jr.
