Richard “Rick” Buechlein, 58
Richard “Rick” Buechlein, age 58, of Huntingburg, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Monday (December 3, 2012) at home.
Rick was born in Jasper, Indiana on February 20, 1954 to August and Lorene (Merkley) Buechlein. He married Debbie Kordes on May 11, 1974 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
He was employed by the Kimball Office 15th St. Plant where he worked for 20 years, and he also did construction for many years.
Rick was a member of the Jasper High School Class of 1972, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Knights of Columbus, Duff Conservation Club, the Moose, and the Jasper Outdoor Recreation.
He was an avid I.U. fan and enjoyed dealing and collecting antiques.

Funeral services for Richard “Rick” Buechlein will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (December 6, 2012) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (December 5, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Jasper Moose will conduct a ritual at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center or to a favorite charity.
