Richard J. Fischer, 74, Jasper

Richard J. Fischer, 74, of Jasper, passed away at 10:53 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. 

Richard was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on July 27, 1946, to Victor and Lucille (Doshier) Fischer. 

He did kitchen help locally. He loved country music and karaoke and loved to play bingo. 

He is survived by four sisters, Ruth Houchin of Pryor, Ok., Susie (Mike) Stenftenagel of Jasper, Cathy (Jack) Bright of English, and Edith (Danny) Hickman of Paoli; three brothers, John Fischer of Needles, Calif., Charles (Vonnie) Fischer of Fargo, N.D., and Bob (Barb) Fischer of Velpen; several nieces and nephews. 

Preceding him in death besides his parents, are four sisters, Mildred Hoevener, Mary Fischer, Delores Strotman, and Marcella King. 

Private family services will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper, Indiana.
