Richard Francis Schum, 81, Dale, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at WillowDale Manor in Dale.

He was born December 4th 1934 in Dale Indiana to the late William and Clara (Hildenbrand) Schum of Dale.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator. In his pastime, he loved flying his radio controlled airplanes and traveling.

He is survived by his caregiver, Jean Thibault of Dale; sister, Carolyn Guth of Ferdinand; two stepsons, Scott and Vicky Litkenhus of Dale and David Litkenhus of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

There will be no services at this time.
