Rheta L. Fisher, 68, Shoals

Rheta L. Fisher, 68, of Shoals, entered into eternal rest on December 25, 2022, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

She was born in French Lick on October 26, 1954, to William and Betty (Moore) Tomlinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane Chastain; and brother, William “Eddie” Tomlinson.

Rheta is survived by her husband, Jack Fisher of Shoals; sons, Russell, Jason, Benjamin and Ryan Chastain, and Tracy and Bobby Patton, and Jon Fisher; daughters, Rebekah Fisher and Rachael Houghton; brothers, Timothy Tomlinson (Marilyn) of French Lick and Bill Tomlinson (Janet) of French Lick; sisters, Veronica Archer (Cheyenne) of French Lick, Karen Crowe (Earl) of Jasper, Gloria “Birdie” Nolan (Mike Morgan) of French Lick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11 a.m. at The Church at Powell Valley, with burial to follow at Anderson Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and on Saturday, at church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
