Rex A. Thompson, age 54, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:25 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2012 at his residence in Huntingburg.

He was born December 28, 1957 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Calvin and Ida (Huff) Thompson. He was the owner/operator of Rex Thompson’s Auto Service. Rex enjoyed playing the guitar, restoring old cars, and gardening. He was preceded in death by: his father, Calvin Thompson; and two nephews.

Three sisters and one brother-in-law,

  • Gwen (Randy) Kilian – Huntingburg, IN

by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services for Rex A. Thompson will be held at 7:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday evening, April 18, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Brother Craig Taylor will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, the day of the funeral.
