Reward offered in Jasper break-in investigation

Jasper — Jasper police are investigating numerous thefts from vehicles that occurred overnight on the city’s west side.

According to police, numerous vehicles were broken into sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning along Kluemper Road and the west side of the town in general. Various amounts of money were taken from the vehicles and a .22 caliber pistol has also been reported stolen.

The Community Strike Force Against Crime and the Jasper Police Department is offering a $750 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the thefts.
