Renowned illusionist/magician kicks off Jasper Arts season this Sunday

Jasper Community Arts will present The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE! at the Jasper Arts Center on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.  This is the opening production in the 2016-2017 Family Fun Series and is suitable fun for all ages.

Referred to as “Houdini Times Ten!” by NBC, Blagg’s show is packed with NEW mind-blowing illusions and his trademark off-the-cuff personality that make this show a great family event!  People will float in mid-air, vanish in the blink of an eye and so much more!  This is one show you can’t afford to miss.  Witness live over an hour of interactive, action-packed magic and illusion performed by one of the country’s most prominent magical stars, Bill Blagg.

Bill’s big break occurred when he won a prestigious magic competition at the age of 18 in the Magic Capital of the World (Colon, MI).  He went down in magic history as the youngest contestant to ever win the event.

A frequent guest on NBC, CBS AND FOX, Bill is widely regarded for his unconventional style of magic which doesn’t involve cliché tricks with playing cards or rabbits.  Instead Bill prefers to thrill his audiences with his incredible illusions such as squishing his body to just 5 inches tall among other illusions.

An honors graduate of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisc., with a degree in performing arts and communications, Bill prides himself with being able to consistently create and stage new illusions to thrill his audiences year after year.
