Rena Lee Conrad, 87, Dubois

Rena Lee Conrad, 87, of Dubois, passed away on June 15, 2026, at Serenity Spring Northwood in Jasper. 

She was born in Cuzco, Ind., on October 31, 1938, to John Leo and Frances (Cooper) Shepard.

Rena married Allen Conrad on February 18, 1955, and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2015.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene, and infant brother, Lora J. Shepard.  

Rena enjoyed crocheting, loved to garden and work in the yard with her flowers, and loved to bake and sweets.

She is survived by son, Kevin Conrad (Sheila); daughter, Kathy Plimpton (Stephen); brother, Charles Edward Shepard (Andrea); sister, Ruth McCart (John); grandchildren, Esha Roth, Michael Conrad, Heather Fonseca and Ethan Plimpton; five great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Stephen Plimpton II on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crystal Community Cemetery.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
