Registration open for Heimatfest 5K Run/Walk

Ferdinand Heimatfest, sponsored by Best Home Furnishings, is accepting registrations for the 24th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run.

The race will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. ET. Registration and sign-in will take place at the Forest Park Junior High School Gym. The Kid’s Fun Run will take place on the Forest Park High School Track immediately following the 5K. Fun Run is for kids ages 12 and under. This 3.1-mile course will feature Forest Park High School, The Monastery, and the Old Town Lake.

Cost for the 5K Run/Walk is $20 per person before June 12, or $25 on or after June 12. Kid’s Fun Run is $10 with a Kid’s T-Shirt or FREE without a T-Shirt.

Awards will be given in each age group. Prize Money and a plaque will be given to the overall male and female. Free ribbons will be given to each Kid’s Fun Run Participant.
