Rebecca L. McFarland, 62, Petersburg, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016, In Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born at Indianapolis, Indiana on June 23, 1953 to Ruby E. and Alice (Murphy) Presley. She was married to James Michael McFarland. He preceded her in death in 2006.

Rebecca worked as a certified nurse assistant at The Golden Living Nursing Home in Petersburg for many years.

She is survived by one daughter, Alesha Brown of Vincennes; three sons, Michael McFarland of Indianapolis, Shawn McFarland of Petersburg and Christopher McFarland of Indianapolis.

Private services were held at the Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper.
