Rebecca H.”Becky” Klem, 55

Rebecca H.”Becky” Klem, 55, of St. Anthony, Indiana passed away at 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Becky was born on September 13, 1959 to Daniel and Rose (Wirthwein) Hauser. She married John Klem on July 9, 1983 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville.

Becky was a beloved wife and loving mother. She was a registered nurse who received her degree from the University of Evansville. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and a member and past president of its Christian Mothers’ Organization. She was a member and past president of the Ferdinand Kiwanis.

She enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She was an avid I.U. and N.C. State sports fan.

She us survived by her husband, John Klem of St. Anthony; one daughter, Laura Klem and her companion, Kent McLamb, of Raleigh, N.C.; one son, Jonathan Klem of Indianapolis; parents, Daniel and Rose Hauser of Schnellville; two sisters, Kim Rogers and her husband, Tommy, of Lexington, Ky., and Jennifer Jazyk and her husband, Nate, of Jasper; three brothers, Greg Hauser of Bloomington, Rick Hauser and his wife, Karen, of Schnellville, and Kevin Hauser and his wife, Sherry, Schnellville.

Funeral services for Rebecca H. “Becky” Klem will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, IN, with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday. The St. Anthony Christian Mothers’ will perform a prayer service at 1:45 p.m.
