RE/MAX Local announces ownership transition to Agent Gwen Gosman
RE/MAX Local has announced that ownership of the brokerage will transition to current RE/MAX Local agent Gwen Gosman following the sale of the business by Ryan Craig and Brenda Krempp.
The transaction has been fully executed by both parties and officially approved by RE/MAX, LLC. – a subsidiary of RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. The ownership transition will take effect on April 1, 2026.
Gosman, a respected agent with deep roots in the Dubois County community, will assume leadership of the brokerage and guide the next chapter of RE/MAX Local’s growth while continuing the company’s strong focus on serving local buyers and sellers.
“RE/MAX Local has built a reputation around serving our community with integrity, professionalism, and a truly local perspective,” Gosman said. “I’m honored to step into this role and continue building a brokerage where our agents are supported and our clients feel confident they are working with professionals who truly understand the communities we serve.”
For Gosman, the opportunity carries both professional and personal significance. She is the daughter of longtime local real estate professional Judy Gosman, whose decades of service helped shape the local housing market and inspired Gwen’s own career in real estate.
“Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember through my mom,” Gosman said. “Her dedication to helping families find the right home and serving people the right way left a lasting impression on me.
Being able to continue that legacy while leading RE/MAX Local into the future means a great deal to me.”
Current co-owner Ryan Craig, who was recently elected Mayor of the City of Jasper, said transitioning the brokerage to a current agent with strong local ties was an important part of the decision.
“Finding the right person to carry RE/MAX Local forward was incredibly important to us,” Craig said. “Gwen understands the culture of this office and the communities we serve. Completing this transition before the start of my mayoral term also allows me to dedicate my full attention to serving the City of Jasper. I’m confident the brokerage will continue to grow and thrive under her leadership.”
Brenda Krempp, co-owner of RE/MAX Local and a longtime Dubois County real estate professional, echoed that sentiment and said she looks forward to seeing the brokerage continue to evolve under Gosman’s direction.
“Ryan and I have been proud to build RE/MAX Local together and to serve this community alongside such an incredible group of agents,” Krempp said. “While this transition represents a new chapter for the brokerage, I’m not stepping away from real estate. I look forward to continuing to work with clients and support our team while watching Gwen lead RE/MAX Local into its next phase.”
Craig and Krempp will remain affiliated with RE/MAX Local as agents during the transition period.
Under Gosman’s leadership, RE/MAX Local will continue operating under the trusted RE/MAX brand while maintaining its strong commitment to local service and community relationships throughout Jasper, Dubois County, and the surrounding region.
