Ray Allen Dunn, 66

Ray Allen Dunn, 66, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 3:35 a.m., on Sunday, January 18, 2015, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born April 24, 1948 in Velpen, Indiana, to Harold and Margaret (Morgan) Dunn.

Ray was a retired truck driver; and a member of the NRA and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dunn; his mother, Margaret McCarty; his step-father, Robert McCarty; and four brothers, Roger, Doyle, Danny and Mark Dunn.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Larry) Lynn of Shiloh, Ill.; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg (Rachel) Dunn of Birdseye; two adopted children, Bobbie Ahrens of Mo. and Jill Mann of Cali.; his companion and caregiver, Jeanne Zink of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; one sister, Barb McCarty of Washington, Ind.; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ray Dunn will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday.
