Raphael Leo Greulich, 82, St. Meinrad

Raphael Leo Greulich, 82, of St. Meinrad, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at his home.

Raphael was born February 11, 1935, in St. Meinrad to Benno and Lela (Will) Greulich. He married Irene Marie Collignon on October 1, 1960, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda.

Raphael was retired from the Abbey Press and was also a professional photographer. He was a lifetime member of the St. Meinrad Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Professional Photographers Association and the Quail Hunters Club.

Raphael is survived by his wife, Irene; two sons, Brian (Kelly) Greulich of Santa Claus and Todd (Dawn) Greulich of Santa Claus; one daughter, Renae (Joe) Harper of Santa Claus; two brothers, Leroy (Bettye) Greulich of St. Meinrad and Omer (Judy) Greulich of Shepherdsville, Ky.; six grandchildren.

Friends may call at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand on Tuesday from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. CDT. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. CDT in St. Meinrad Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
