Ramona Sue Foerster, 81, New Boston

Ramona Sue Foerster, 81, passed away September 4, 2021, at her home near New Boston.

She was born October 11, 1939, to the late John and Dorothy (Simpson) Talbott in Spencer County. Ramona married Arcene Foerster on October 23, 1960.

Her enjoyment was her family and taking care of everyone else. She graduated from Chrisney High School. In her early years, she worked at Kroger in Tell City.

She is survived by her husband, Arcene Foerster; children, Darryl (Diana) Foerster of Evanston, Debra (Daniel) Sendelweck of Jasper, Angela (Glenn) Claiborne of Lubbock, Texas, and Becky (Richard) Boehm of Evanston; six grandchildren, Molly (Jason) Oliver, Nicole (Jordan) Lammers, Lucas (Kaylyn) Sendelweck, Amanda (Jay) Downing, Lee Boehm, Heather, Boehm; three great-grandchildren, Lexi Lammers, Corbin Downing, and Evangeline Oliver; sister, Betty (Joe Pat) Griffin of Tell City.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister; Peggy Coville; a brother, Noble Talbott; grandson, Aaron Foerster.

  Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 8, 2021at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pastor Rodney Schmetz will officiate. 

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. to service time Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
