Ralph L. Sendelweck, 98

Ralph L. Sendelweck, age 98, of Haysville, passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Ralph was born on March 31, 1916 in the Kellerville area of Dubois County to Chris and Mary (Bauer) Sendelweck. He married Cyrilla Eisenhut on September 26, 1939 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, IN. She preceded him in death on October 10, 2001.

Ralph was a lifetime farmer in the Kellerville area.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.

Ralph is survived by one son, Gene Sendelweck and his wife Marian, of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Karen Moore, Julie Conner, Cathy Hamm, and David Sendelweck; seven great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Vannini, Maggie Moore, Emma Moore, Joseph Conner, Jacob Conner, Alex Hamm and Molly Hamm; one sister, Norma Wuchner, of Jasper.

Preceding Ralph in death besides his wife is one sister, Elfrieda Kieffner, and two brothers, Hilbert Sendelweck, and Earl Sendelweck.

Funeral services for Ralph Sendelweck will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, IN, with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville, IN. Pastor Charla Grieves will officiate.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time at the church on Monday.
