Ralph H. Schroering, 81, of Jasper, passed away at 2:18 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana, surrounded by family.

Ralph was born in Jasper, Indiana, on April 13, 1941, to Herbert and Loretta (Seger) Schroering.
He married Madonna “Donna” Mehringer on May 8, 1965, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.
He was a graduate of Dubois High School. Ralph served in the National Guard for six years and owned and operated Ralph Schroering Construction for 48 years, where he was well known for his quality workmanship, especially concrete work.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper and the Holy Family Men’s Sodality.
He enjoyed playing cards, snowmobiling, spending time at his farm and being with family and friends.
he is survived by his wife, Donna Schroering of Jasper; three sons, Kevin (Denise) Schroering of Celestine, Kurt Schroering and Jason Schroering, both of Jasperl; three daughters, Michelle (Chris) Dodson of Jasper, Melissa (Chris) Barthel of Haubstadt and Janel (Shane) Werner of Jasper; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice (Judy) Schroering, Donnie (Cathy) Schroering, both of Jasper; two sisters, Sr. Marilyn Schroering of Ferdinand and Doris Schroering of Jasper; one sister-in-law, Connie Schroering of Jasper.
Preceding him in death are two sisters, Edna Schroering and Lou Alice Schroering; and one brother, Delmar Schroering.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ralph H. Schroering will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. (noon) service time at the church on Tuesday.
