Ralph A. Brescher, 84

Ralph A. Brescher, age 84, of Jasper, passed away at 12:06 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
He was born in Jasper, Indiana, October 19, 1928, to Henry and Esther Blessinger-Jacob Brescher. He married Rosemary Egloff September 3, 1953, she preceded him in death on December 21, 2003.
Ralph was a WWII Army veteran serving in the special services division. He was the founder of the Dubois County Tire & Supply Inc. in Jasper and the former Brescher’s Wheel Stop.
He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – Jasper Knight of Columbus – V.F.W. Post # 673, American Legion Post # 147.

Preceding him in death besides his wife is one brother Cyril Brescher.
Funeral services for Ralph Brescher will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (June 22, 2013), in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum. V.F.W. Post # 673 will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Northwood Retirement Community or to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
