Purdue SIPAC Field Day will explore beef topics

A Purdue Extension workshop will help cattle producers better understand beef management options.

The workshop, hosted by the Southern Indiana Purdue Ag Center (SIPAC), Purdue Extension, and cooperating partners, includes sessions on transitioning to fall calving; body condition scoring & udder scores; mud management & high use area pads; black vulture damage & control; bale grazing & forage analysis; and short forage plot stops.

The training workshop will be held on August 28, 2021, 1-5 p.m. EDT, at the Southern Indiana Purdue Agricultural Center (SIPAC), 11371 E. Purdue Farm Road, Dubois, IN, and is a part of a four-week SIPAC series.
