Public invited to information session for mitigation planning

The Multi-Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee of Dubois County will host a public information session on January 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM, in the City of Jasper Pfaffenweiler room located at 610 Main Street, Jasper.

Dubois County Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the Polis Center at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), has started the process of updating its Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Once the plan is updated,the committee will submit it to FEMA for final approval.

The planning committee is interested in receiving public input on the plan. Anyone who would like to provide input or has any questions should contact Dubois County Emergency Management Director Tammy Humbert at 812-482-2202.
