Propane Shortage press conference scheduled for 2:30 today

Governor Mike Pence and Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann will hold a press conference today  at 2:30 p.m. EST to provide an update on the State’s actions to help Hoosiers during the propane shortage in Indiana.

The press conference will be available via livestream at http://www.webinar.in.gov/indiana/. Individuals wishing to watch and listen in will have to provide a name to view the event.

Indiana is affected by a national shortage of propane. Additionally, drivers are having difficulties reaching customers on hazardous roads.

Governor Pence recently relieved drivers’ restriction in regards to daily driving limits to allow drivers more time to get to customers.

Some areas of the state hard hit with the polar vortex are rationing delivery amounts.
