Probation search finds stolen gun, stolen ATV, marijuana growing and meth manufacturing
Spencer County — Late last night troopers from the Jasper Post along with deputies from the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office conducted a probation search at 490 E CR 600 N, in Rockport that led to the discovery of a meth lab, a stolen vehicle and a stolen gun.
Authorities went to that address at about 6:48 p.m. CDT officers to conduct a probation search. During the searches of the property and residence officers located a stolen ATV, stolen gun and marijuana plants growing behind the residence. Inside the residence, officers discovered that Jesse S. South, 58, Rockport and David A Dixon, 37, Rockport were also in possession of items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine and other drugs and drug paraphernalia. Both South and Dixon were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Spencer County Jail.
