Primary Election Day information
Some Dubois County voters can take part in the Primary Election today to decide who will represent their party in November’s election.
Polling stations are only open in Jasper and Ferdinand since there are two contested races in Jasper and one in Ferdinand.
In Jasper, District 3 voters will have the option to choose between Chad Lueken and Merrill Osterman to represent them on the Republican ticket. The seat is open as Councilman John Bell did not run for reelection.
In Jasper’s Sixth District, voters will choose between incumbent Kevin Manley and Ryan Schuetter to represent them on the Republican ticket in November.
Incumbent councilman Ron Weyer is being challenged by Steven Pancake for the Democratic nomination in Ferdinand for the at-large seat on the Ferdinand Town Council.
Polls for today’s primary are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:
Jasper Middle School, 3600 Portersville Road, is for voters in Bainbridge 5N, 5S, 6N and 6S and Boone-Jasper.
Voters in Bainbridge 1.1, 4N and 4S vote at the Jasper Arts Center, 951 College Avenue.
Voters in Bainbridge 2E, 2W, 3E and 3W vote at the National Guard Armory, 1481 Bartley Street.
Voters in Madison-Jasper North and Madison-Jasper South vote at St. Mary’s Community Center, 2829 N.500 West, Jasper.
Ferdinand 1 and 2 voters can cast their ballot at the Ferdinand Community Center, 1710 Community Arts Drive.
