Pothole patching on I-64 today; expect minor delays
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists crews will be out on the interstate patching potholes this week. There will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 (I-64) in Crawford, Dubois and Perry counties.
Beginning Thursday, March 20, INDOT crews will be working in directions of I-64 from State Road 162 (Exit 63) to State Road 66 (Exit 92). It is anticipated all work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and be complete by 4:00 p.m. each day, with all work complete by Friday, March 21, weather permitting.
INDOT urges motorists to slow down and stay alert when encountering pavement maintenance crews. Drivers in Southwest Indiana can monitor road closures, road conditions, and traffic alerts at any time via INDOT’s TrafficWise Traveler Information Service, http://www.trafficwise.in.gov.
