Potential phone scam in area

Watch out for a potential phone scam hitting the area. A local business was contacted today about purchasing federally mandated labor posters. These posters are provided by request from the Department of Labor for free.

The group calling themselves the Federal Labor Law Office can be demanding on the phone, threatening fines if you do not purchase the posters. In this case the cost to the local merchant was $99.00 but they have been know to demand up to $200.00.
