Police seeking stolen propane tank and truck (Updated)

Update: At 1:30 p.m., the police department notified the media the vehicle and tanker had been located.

Original: The Jasper Police Department is investigating the theft of a semi-tanker pulling a propane tanker from the area of Second and Clay streets in Jasper.

The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Thursday evening and 6 a.m. this morning. JPD is looking for a maroon 2015 Freightliner semi-tractor with Illinois plate of P984517. The truck has “Roark Trucking” on the side, DOT# 327038. The propane tanker is 1968 Lubbock and also has “Roark Trucking” on the side, Illinois plate of 184626ST.
