Police seeking car involved in head-on collision in Jasper

Police are seeking a white sedan involved in a head-on collision in the Jasper IGA parking lot Sunday at 5:50 p.m.

The car, possibly a Mercury originally reported as a 2-door sedan, left the scene after the collision with a lime-green parked 2012 Ford Fiesta and was last seen heading south on U.S. 231 towards Huntingburg. According to witnesses, the car’s front bumper was dragging on the ground.

Huntingburg police were notified of the possibly approaching car but neither department was able to locate it.
