Police investigating second burglary on Giesler Road; guns taken

Jasper police are investigating another burglary that occurred on Giesler Road.

According to police, a garage on the 800 block of Giesler Road was broken into during the day on Tuesday, July 21. Several guns were taken along with other items.

Overnight between Monday and Tuesday, a garage on the 900 block of Giesler Road was broken into. In that investigation, a crossbow and undetermined amount of money was taken from the garage.

The Community Strike Force Against Crime is offering a $1,000 reward for information in either case that leads to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the crime.
