Police conducting hostile response training exercise

On Tuesday, June 19 at 4:00 p.m., the Dubios County Sheriff’s Department and other local government agencies will be conducting a training exercise at the Dubois County Court House.

The Training will consist of the deputies responding to a hostile situation in an effort to better emergency responses if the need were to arise.

The roadway around the court house square will not be blocked but the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department is requesting motorists avoid the area for safety due to possible congestion.

Multiple local agencies will be participating in the training and emergency vehicles will be parked around the courthouse.
