Police ask for public’s help in locating St. Anthony man (Updated)

Update: According to Leisman’s family, he was found living in Louisville.

The sheriff’s department thanked the public for its assistance in attempting to locate Leisman.

Original: Dubois County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a St. Anthony man who has been missing since December 2.

According to Deputy Brad Kendall, Mark Alan Leisman’s sister Angie Russell contacted them December 12 seeking help in locating the 54-year-old man. Leisman had been out of contact with family members in the past but not for such a long period of time.

When deputies checked with the family on January 12, they had still not heard from him.

Leisman is 5-foot-8 and about 140 lbs. He has blue eyes and blonde hair but is balding.

Leisman is known to ride around on a purple scooter.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department at 812-482-3522.
