Pine Ridge Elementary School preschool and kindergarten round-up dates

Pine Ridge Elementary School will host a Preschool Information Session (for families already registered) and Kindergarten Registration on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The Preschool session will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m., followed by Kindergarten registration at 6:15 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the school gym.

Children must be five (5) years old before August 1, 2026, to be eligible for kindergarten enrollment in the fall.

New this year: Pine Ridge Elementary asks that all 2026–27 kindergarten students—with the exception of current 4-year-old preschool students—pre-register prior to Round-Up. Parents may do so by following the instructions on the school’s Facebook page at facebook.com/PineRidge or by emailing janet.uebelhor@sedubois.k12.in.us for instructions. This information helps the school estimate kindergarten class size and plan accordingly.

During both sessions, the Principal, Teachers, School Nurse, Speech Pathologist, and Administrative Assistant will be available to share information with families. The goals for the evening are to answer questions, guide parents through the registration process, and explain the expectations and opportunities available at Pine Ridge Elementary School.

Families whose children were immunized outside the state of Indiana are asked to bring their immunization records. The school nurse will be available to answer questions regarding immunizations and special medical needs. Birth certificates and proof of residence are not needed at this time, as parents will upload that information during online registration in late summer.

Parents are respectfully asked to attend without children, as it is important that attendees are able to give their full attention. Students will have an opportunity to visit their classrooms prior to the start of school in the fall.

Families who are unable to attend may stop by the school after February 11, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., to complete the necessary forms. For questions regarding Preschool or Kindergarten programs, please contact the school at 812-817-0900, Option 3.
