Pike County early voting underway

The Pike County Election Board has set dates, times and locations for the 2024 primary election. 

Early voting will begin in the Pike County Clerk’s Office on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 and will continue Monday through Friday until Friday May 3, 2024 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.  The Clerk’s Office will also be open on Saturdays April 27 and May 4 and Monday May 6 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.  The Satellite locations are as follows:

Election Day vote centers will be open from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. on primary election day May 7, 2024.  There will be 3 vote centers open on primary election day:

Main St Presbyterian Church 910 Main St Petersburg IN  47567

Winslow Community Center Gym 301 E Porter St Winslow IN  47598

Otwell Community Center 2301 N Spring St Otwell IN  47564

It is very important to note that the Petersburg vote center has changed locations.  In previous elections, the Petersburg vote center was located at the Mosiac Church on Illinois St.  However, the new location for the Petersburg vote center is at the Main St Presbyterian Church.

All voting times, dates and locations are located on www.indianavoters.com.  This information will also be posted on the Pike County website at www.pikecounty.in.gov.

Registered voters can request an application to vote by mail by going to www.indianavoters.com or calling the Pike County Clerk’s Office at 812-354-6025.  The deadline to receive the application in the office to receive a ballot to vote by mail is Thursday, April 25, 2024.  Applications received after this deadline will not be sent a mailed ballot.  

The Pike County Clerk’s Office reminds everyone that now is a good time to verify your voter registration information.  This can be done online at www.indianavoters.com, at any Indiana BMV location or by calling or coming into the Clerk’s Office.  The deadline for changes to voter registration for the May primary election is April 8, 2024.  Any new voter registrations or updates to existing voter registrations received after April 8 will be processed beginning May 21, 2024.
