Philomena J. Goepferich, 77
Philomena J. Goepferich, age 77, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 9:48 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born February 17, 1934 in Huntingburg to Mathew and Doretha (Blessinger) Blume. She was united in marriage to Norbert J. Goepferich on April 11, 1964 in Huntingburg. Philomena was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Norbert J. Goepferich, who died March 17, 1975; one daughter, Cecelia Parks; one sister, Virginia Blume; and four brothers – Roger, Dave, Richard, and Gerald “Buck” Blume.
She is survived by:

Eight grandchildren.
Funeral services for Philomena Goepferich will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Friday, August 26th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Ferdinand Cemetery in Ferdinand, Indiana.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday. A parish vigil service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday afternoon, at the funeral home.
