Phillis Ann Frye, 63, Birdseye

Phillis Ann Frye, 63, of Birdseye, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

She was born June 25, 1959, in Somerset, Ky., to Thurman and Mary Evelyne (Deborad) Frye. 

Phyllis enjoyed collecting coins and piggy banks, watching old western movies, dancing and enjoying life to the fullest. She has a special canine companion, Baby Marie, whom she adored. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bessie Peters and Susan Frye; a brother, Burchel Lovins; and a grandson, Dakota Mikal Probus.

She is survived by her children, Lattonya and Chad Frye; one sister, Rita Morrow; her companion of many years, Darrell Enlow, all of Birdseye; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren plus one on the way.

Funeral services for Phillis Ann Frye will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, the day of the service.
