Phillip “Jack” Jackson, 60

Phillip “Jack” Jackson, 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Jack was born on August 28, 1954 to the late Louis and Mary Edwina Jackson.
He was the beloved husband to his wife of 33 years, Lisa Jackson and proud father to his two children, Justin and Jayme Jackson.
Jack was employed by Masterbrand Cabinets in Huntingburg, Indiana. A 1974 graduate of South Spencer High School, Jack excelled in athletics. He continued his passion for sports by officiating middle school and high school basketball and football for nearly 30 years. Jack was a diehard Chicago Bears Football and Indiana University Basketball fan. He enjoyed watching as many games as possible.
He also enjoyed golfing with his buddies, grilling for his family, yard work, and relaxing in his recliner with his sidekick and family dog, Pickles.
Jack is survived by his wife, Lisa (Clayton) Jackson of Rockport; children, Justin Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Jayme Jackson of Dallas, Tex.; Siblings, Mike Jackson of Spottsville, Ky., Dennis Jackson of Huntingburg, Randy Jackson of Huntingburg, Becky Meredith of Grandview, and Lucy Jackson of Huntingburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A loving husband, proud father, and great friend, Jack will be remembered for his kindness and humor.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial is in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
