Pedestrian struck in Huntingburg
A Huntingburg pedestrian suffered injuries to his leg and hip after being struck by a vehicle on Main Street Friday night.
Officers were called to the intersection of Main and 12th streets at about 9:55 p.m. for the incident. According to police, Amy Troesch, 18, of Ferdinand, was driving northbound and as her vehicle entered the intersection, her vehicle struck Jesse Landrum, 23, of Huntingburg.
Landrum had injuries to his leg and hip area and was taken to Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
The incident is still under investigation by Huntingburg police.
Dubois County Sheriff’s Deputies, Indiana State Troopers and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Service responded to the scene.
