Paul M. Smith, 73
Paul M. Smith, age 73, of Holland, Indiana, passed away at 11:50 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born October 17, 1938 in Jasper, Indiana to Paul E. and Rachel (Birch) Smith. He was united in marriage to Virginia Kerns on July 12, 1958 at the Church of the Nazarene parsonage in Huntingburg. Paul previously worked at: Holland Dairy where he was a warehouse supervisor, Jasper Plastics as a line supervisor, and Walmart as a greeter. He was a lifetime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Huntingburg; and took pride in being certified with the Salvation Army’s Disaster Services Training Program.

Two daughters and two son-in-laws,

- Melissa “Missy” (Alan) Shell – Nashville, TN
Two brothers,
- Jerry Smith – Holland, IN
- Ron Smith – Huntingburg, IN
and (3) grandchildren.
Funeral services for Paul M. Smith will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Church of the Nazarene in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery near Duff. Pastor William Covey will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday; and at the Church of the Nazarene from 1:45-2:00 p.m., Saturday, 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m.
