Paul F. Steltenpohl, 50, Jasper

Paul F. Steltenpohl, 50, of Jasper, passed away at 9:07 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at his home.

He was born at Jasper, Indiana, on July 9, 1968 to Paul F. and Mary (Lewis) Steltenpohl. He married Cynthia Gehlhausen on September 2, 1989, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

Paul worked for OFS Brands in Huntingburg, Indiana for 25 years as a computer engineer. He was a graduate of Jasper High School Class of 1986. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He loved working on computers, playing board games and arcade games.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Jenna Steltenpohl and Emma Steltenpohl, both at home; six sisters, Angela Denton of Jasper, Paula Breeding of Jasper, Patricia Hammond (Warren) of Warner Robins, Ga., Tina Slayton (Todd) of Jasper, Alice Recker of Linton and Lori Toby (Steve) of Holland; stepfather, Jay Recker of Jasper.

Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Steltenpohl will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
