Paul E. Tretter, 79, Jasper

Paul E. Tretter, 79, Jasper, passed away at 12:55 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, in the St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Unit in Lexington, Kentucky.

Paul was born in St. Meinred, Indiana on September 12, 1936 to Hubert M. and Ella (Ruxer) Tretter.

Paul was a member of the United States Marine Corp. and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper. He was an avid fisherman and a University of Kentucky Wildcats fan.

He is survived by three daughters, Shelley Sutton and her husband Gregory of Morning View, Ky., Joan Wilcoxson and her husband David of Lexington, Ky. and Nancy Mullen and her husband David of Batesville, Ind.; one son,
Anthony “Tony” Tretter and his wife Denise of Sun Prairie, Wisc.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Doris Tretter.

Preceding him in death are one sister, Eunice Rohleder, and two brother, Kenny and Archie Tretter.

Private funeral services were held by the family at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper.
