Paul Alan Klem, 51

Paul Alan Klem, 51, of Ferdinand, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was born July 20, 1961, to Eugene and Clara Mae (Lueken) Klem at Stork Memorial Hospital in Huntingburg.
Paul married Carol A. Gehlhausen on June 20, 1987, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Paul was a 1979 graduate of Jasper High School and was employed at Kimball Office Furniture’s Cherry Street plant.
He was a member of Sons of American Legion, Dubois County Sportsman Club, Dubois County Shooting Sports, Huntingburg Conservation Club, Ducks Unlimited, National Rifle Association, National Archery in the Schools Program, Quails Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Jasper Rifle and Gun Club, Jasper Outdoor Recreation, Ferdinand Community Center, C.H.R.P and St. Ferdinand Parish where he served as a greeter and an usher. Paul was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
Paul is survived by his wife Carol A. Klem; a daughter, Brittney Mae Klem of Ferdinand and her fiancé Jordan A. Lundy of Odon; a sister, Julia Klem of Jasper and a brother Michael Klem and wife Tammy of Evansville.
Paul was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 7-9:30 a.m. at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
