Patty Marie West, 85, Huntingburg

Patty Marie West, 85, passed away at 1:40 am on August 24, 2024, at the Waters of Huntingburg.

Patty was born on December 21, 1938, in Vincennes, the daughter of Oliver C. and Mary L. (Baker) Anderson.

She married John West on July 19, 1971 and he preceded her in death.

Patty was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she volunteered in many ways. She enjoyed crocheting, woodworking, weaving baskets, refinishing antique furniture, reading and reupholstering furniture. Patty was also a member of the American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelley West and her companion, Shawn Davis, of Vincennes and Alicia West of Wheatland; her grandchildren, Felicia Barnes, Alina Barnes, and Brianna Santos; brothers, Earl Anderson and his wife, JoAnn, and Mearl Anderson.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John West; grandsons, John David Santos and Daniel McCarter; and her siblings, James Anderson and his wife, Charlotte, Bessie McCrary and Ruby Gritzmaker.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes, IN 47591.
