Patty L. Willoughby Woodward, 82, Paris, Tenn.

Patty L. Willoughby Woodward, 82, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a longtime former member of First United Methodist Church in Paris. She was active and supportive in the Paris Elks Lodge for many years.  Patty loved Tennessee football and was a huge fan of Peyton Manning. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and working in her yard. 

Patty was born December 30, 1940, in Mayfield, KY, to the late Maurice Elmer Field and the late Louise Merrick Field.

She was married on September 11, 2004, to Kenny Woodward, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by three children, Donna (Jeff) Brewer of Paris, Brad (Debbie) Willoughby of Jasper, Ind., and Teresa (John) Laughlin of Paris; one sister-in-law, Carla Field of Martin, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Austin Paschall, Ty Curtis Bruce, Noah Willoughby, Ella Willoughby, Michelle (Shayne) Summar, and Alex Laughlin; two great-grandchildren, Blake Summar and Jack Summar; two nieces, Carrie (David) Johnson and Alicia Field-Pinto; and one nephew, Maurice (Bartola) Edward Field.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Houston Field.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 409 N Wilson Street, Paris, TN 38242, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with Emily Walker and Joy Weathersbee officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
