Patrick T. Montgomery, 56

Patrick T. Montgomery, 56, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015, in a vehicle accident.

He was born August 29, 1958 to the Eugene V. and Mary Margaret (Ryan) Montgomery.

Patrick was a 1976 graduate of Loogootee High School. He was self-employed. He enjoyed snow skiing, dancing, metal and wood crafting. He was an avid runner and ran in one marathon.

Patrick is survived by son, Adam Montgomery of Jasper; brothers, Frank (Cynthia) Montgomery of Bloomfield, Jim (Vasso) Montgomery of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Tony Montgomery of Versailles, and Michael Montgomery of Princeton; sisters, Sister Mary Montgomery, SP of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and Anna (Scott) Rumble of West Lafayette; significant other, Judy Schroader-Stillwell of Owensboro; 18 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble, officiated by Very Reverend J. Kenneth Walker and concelebrant Reverend Joseph Erbacher. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
