Patricia L. Wagner, 86

Patricia L. Wagner, 86, of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 8:05 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Brookside Village in Jasper.

Patricia was born on July 12, 1928 in Jasper, Indiana to Otto and Leona (Basch) Hochgesang. She married Linus N. Wagner on August 27, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2002.

Patricia was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana and their St. Anne’s Society, and a member of the VFW Post #673 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching IU basketball and sports, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Wenzel and husband Jim of Jasper, Lynn Greulich and husband Craig of Ireland and Lori Sunderman and husband Bob of Jasper; four sons, Jim Wagner and wife Elida of St. George, Utah, Mike Wagner and wife Sherri of Huntingburg, Mark Wagner of Jasper and Patrick Wagner and wife Jill of Jasper; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Laverne Berg and Carol Lueken and husband David, all of Jasper.

Preceding her in death was her husband Linus.

Funeral Services for Patricia L. Wagner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
